SORTIMO T-BOXX
Small part storage can be difficult to get right. The T-Boxx ticks every box, find out why.
Small Parts Container
There are no shortage of parts containers on the market today but the Sortimo T-Boxx is one of those rare products that does everything right. Here are some of the plus points.
Modular
With a clever locking system, you can mix/match the T-Boxx into all kinds of configurations. You can go from storing small M3 bolts on one side to a set of large pliers on the other.
The point is, there are no limits or restrictions here.
Secure
I’ve never seen a locking system as secure as the T-Boxx. When put some very small parts in a section, they stay there. I’ve yet to see it fail, even on very tiny parts.
No matter how much the parts get shaken around, they stay put.
Rackable / Stackable
With rails built into the side, these cases can be securely racked with ease. Having a large rack of these cases adds so much flexibility to your workshop.
They also stack on top of each other sturdily.
Sturdy
These cases are tough and built to last (hence them being on this site). They aren’t cheap, but they will last many, many years even getting knocked around.
They’re also reassuringly sturdy when fully loaded. I have one full of metric nuts and bolts from M3 – M12 and not once has it ever come open.
Repairable
As with many quality products, you can actually buy spare parts. If you break something on it, you can repair it.
Sized Just Right
I love the size of these boxes, because they’re a little larger than usual allowing you to get lots in them without being too heavy. I find many boxes to be too small for my needs if I need a selection of metric bolts and nuts to go with them.
Conclusion
The beauty of these boxes is they just do everything right. There’s nothing that would put me off buying more of them for my workshop. They are expensive, but this is another buy it for life product that will do everything you ask of it for year to come.
If you don’t believe me, watch Adam Savage talk about them. He went full out in his workshop (what I wouldn’t give for that setup) and you can see how much he loves them.
